No, my name is Terri-Ann and Annie is a family name so I decided to use that when naming my business. I'm often called Annie, which is fine. We are often told we stood out when searching for a taxi because of how appealing the name is.
Where are you based?
We are based in Bodmin and work mostly from Bodmin Parkway Train Station. We collect from any other area to any destination.
Are there taxis waiting at Bodmin Parkway Station?
Yes, but very few. Glen is licensed to park on the taxi rank at Bodmin Parkway but he does get busy so advanced bookings are always advised.
How many drivers do you have?
I was independent, just me on my own up until last July 2023 when my brother Glen joined me so there are two of us now.
How many people can you carry?
We have a four seater car and a six seater people carrier so we are able to carry 10 in total.
What happens if my train is delayed?
We track your train (or plane) and we will stay in touch via text message to ensure we are there when you arrive whenever possible.
How will I find you on arrival?
You will receive a text message from us shortly before you arrive with a picture or details of the vehicle collecting you. Name boards are available if that is your preference.
Do you take dogs?
Yes, we are huge dog lovers and are more than happy to accommodate.
Do you have child car seats?
Yes we do. They are available on request.
Are you around during school times?
We both do a school contract but we are around for the busy afternoon trains.
Do you travel long distances?
Yes we will consider any long distant journey
How can I pay?
We take most credit cards and we also offer a prepayment service. You will receive a receipt after each transaction. Cash is still accepted.
Are you 24 hours?
No, we work mostly daytimes but we will consider early mornings and evenings.
